About
For the person who notices first.
X9 started as a way for one person to hand a real-world task to another without either of them learning a project tool. That is still the brief.
Why X9 exists
Most task tools are built for the person running a project. X9 is built for the person who notices first — and for the friend, neighbour, colleague, or contractor they want to bring in. If the recipient has to create an account, learn a board, or wait for someone in IT, the hand-off has already failed.
The product surface stays deliberately small: capture what needs attention, bring the right person in, follow up until something actually happens. The technical pieces — links, QR codes, contact-linked tasks — exist only to keep friction off the moment someone wanted to help.
What we are building right now
- A mobile app (iOS and Android) for capturing what needs attention and bringing the right people in.
- A bridge web experience so a link or QR opens cleanly on whatever phone the other person already has.
- This site, with a blog and a waitlist, so the people who care to follow along can.
- A small set of cloud functions that handle the waitlist and back the future content workflow.
How to reach us
Early access participants get a direct line to the team. If you are curious before signing up, the waitlist form is the most reliable channel — every submission is read by a human.
